Rotor Services
Work associated with steam turbine rotors includes processes such as on-site NDT inspection, blade and seal smoothing, and minor repairs.
For equipment requiring more extensive repairs, the rotor is removed and sent to our workshops for refurbishment, as indicated below:
- Rotor straightening.
- Repair and Replacement of Blades.
- Repair of stumps.
- Disc Replacement.
- Disc reconditioning.
- Seal Replacement.
- Rotor balancing.
- Welding repairs.
- Machining of seal areas and burnishing zone.
Repair of turbine diaphragms and seals
The scope of repair offered for the stator elements of steam turbines includes the following:
- Repairs using special welding techniques.
- Deflection correction.
- Replacement and machining of seals.
Turbine casing repair
Based on the results of the on-site NDT inspection process, we are able to perform casing repair work based on the following:
- Machining of internal casing diameters.
- Repairing cracks using cold welding.
